Sustainable restaurants in Breda

  • Sustainable
More and more sustainable hotspots are popping up in Breda! And we're very happy about that. If you enjoy vegan, vegetarian, sustainable or organic food, then these hotspots are the right place for you.

Zeezicht

At Zeezicht, sustainability is highly valued. They pay close attention to food waste and waste separation. The dishes are prepared so that you eat well but Zeezicht doesn't have to throw anything away. Zeezicht collaborates with Bakker Pol van den Bogaert, who also focuses on reducing plastic. Purchases are made from the Breda-based company Boerschappen. The local products are sustainably grown here and the farmer receives a fair price.

Zeezicht also won the Circular Trophy in 2023.

Charlotte's garden shed

The Tuinhuis van Charlotte is the place at Boerderij Wolfslaar to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee with a piece of homemade cake or a delicious lunch.
Charlotte's garden house is at the forefront when it comes to sustainability, circularity, and minimising waste in the kitchen. Responsible eating and drinking are paramount here. The aim is to use local and organic products as much as possible, and even the building is CO2 neutral.

It's a great place for nature lovers. The little ones can play outside in the sandbox, and of course, you can take them for a walk around the petting zoo. In winter, they can have fun in the children's corner.
