Local history museum Paulus van Daesdonck

At Paulus van Daesdonck, you feel like you're a hundred years in the past. In the farmhouse from 1903, you can discover how life used to be in the old days. A living room and kitchen, a school class, a café and shop, a corner dedicated to the rich Roman Catholic life, and much more. The local history society Paulus van Daesdonck set up the museum with great love for the heritage of Ulvenhout and its surroundings.

Regularly, there are themed exhibitions and children can go on a discovery journey with the museum treasure hunt.

Koetshuis Anneville is a special location in the hamlet of Geersbroek, just south of Ulvenhout. At the end of the Second World War, Queen Wilhelmina stayed here for several weeks during the period when the South of the Netherlands had already been liberated, but the north had not.

    Mill the Korenbloem

In the past, every Dutch village had a windmill, but that is no longer the case. All the more reason to appreciate that Ulvenhout still has a working windmill. The current mill has been standing since 1909 after a fire destroyed the previous one.

Mill 'De Korenbloem' is operational every Saturday, and in the mill shop, all kinds of flour are available for home bakers. Too much hassle? 'De Korenbloem' also sells bread, currant buns, sausage rolls, and... Mill beer!
