The Chassé park, a former barracks site, is like a green oasis in the center of Breda. With a view of the modern architecture and the skyline of Breda with the Grote Kerk, you can enjoy walking around among the work of five photographers. The BredaPhoto exhibition at the Chassé Park and the adjacent XXL Square make Breda a life-size canvas. The Chassé Park also has a nice playground for children. Via Poptemple de Mezz you walk in a few minutes to the Van Coothplein with its many terraces for young and old.

Photographers:

Irina Rozovsky (Born in Russia, raised in USA)
Irina Rozovsky pays tribute to the tranquility of Brooklyn's Prospect Park, one of America's first democratic public spaces. Her images depict New Yorkers from all walks of life, showing the sharp contrast between the rushed and hyper-competitive city life and the tranquility and beauty of the park.

Ivan Tomasewic – ITP  (Croatia)
With his work we dive into the world of the war veterans community of Tomasevic's father. The series shows the daily reality and friendship between the veterans. With this work Tomasevic hopes to start a discussion. Despite the sacrifices they have made, they receive little support and are left to their own devices.

Nepal Picture Library
In 2018, the Nepal Picture Library established a special women's archive, The Feminist Memory Project (FMP). The collection shows examples where women led political struggles, spoke to meetings, published and shaped opinions and violated social norms. FMP builds on the feminist impulse to commemorate women's pasts in the belief that making their history visible will advance the path to liberation.

Ilana Bar (Brazil)
Ilana Bar offers an intimate and tender glimpse into the daily life of a family with Down syndrome. She makes the images in her family's rural home. These are photos of a unique family where all the characters are intertwined to tell their photographic story.
