The characteristic Sint Annastraat

  • Creativity
  • Veemarktkwartier
The Sint Annastraat is one of the oldest and most characteristic streets in the historic centre of Breda. Allow yourself to be surprised by the variety of local entrepreneurs in this street, located behind the Grote Markt. You will find mostly small, innovative companies run by creative makers. Let us introduce you to a few of them.

Patisserie Nettur

Judie Rutten is the proud owner of Patisserie Nettur. What started as a passion that got out of hand has turned into her own little shop in Sint Annastraat. The love and passion for baking is not foreign to Judie. It runs in her family for generations.
Since September 2021, Judie has been making the most delicious pastries, cakes, macarons, and authentic Brabant sausage rolls at number 21. The patisserie is open Wednesday to Saturday. If you want to make sure to get a cake or pastry, it is also possible to order in advance.

J'adore Vintage

J'adore vintage was founded in 2017 by Suus. Suus has French roots and has been scouring French vintage markets since she was a child. Even now, she searches for vintage treasures for her shop every week. Each item is unique and has its own story for Suus. Vintage is not only very trendy but also contributes to reducing the ecological footprint. By buying and wearing a second-hand garment, you extend its lifespan. The more people wear second-hand clothes, the fewer new garments need to be produced. Most items come from France and Belgium, mainly from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

SAARBARBAARS

Sarah creates her products with care and quality.

Goudmerk not only sells jewelry, but you can also come here for repairs and adjustments to jewelry.

FAWL Customs

FAWL Customs has not been established on Sint Annastraat for very long. Are you a sneakerhead and would like a unique sneaker? Here, sneakers are customized by hand or made according to your preferences. You can choose from eighty different colors, for example. On the website, you can find examples to get inspired. This is also the right place if your sneakers could use a makeover. Very convenient.

Jessica has been a 'hair artist' for five years. Her salon is located on Stadserf, just around the corner from Sint Annastraat. Jessica originally comes from Vlissingen, where she opened her first salon. Several years later, she opened her second salon, now in the heart of Breda. Entrepreneurship runs in her family, as she comes from a family of entrepreneurs. Jessica's team is knowledgeable in cutting, colouring, make-up and eyebrow treatments.

Stadserf 6

Latour

Latour is located on the corner of Sint Annastraat and is hard to miss. This delicatessen store has been around since 1969 and is still going strong! Here you can not only buy delicacies (Latour for at home!), but also enjoy a comprehensive lunch, drinks or wine. You can sit inside or outside on the terrace under the large plane tree at Veemarktpleintje. On the 'St. Annakant' side of Latour, there is a 'counter' where you can order and take away sandwiches. Super convenient, especially for on-the-go. Latour also organizes (wine)tasting sessions in the 15th century wine cellar.
